A smaller side view of a white-bearded European man in a top hat and spats, possibly a bishop, is between the two images of Karetai. Below is a drawing of a small steamer, probably in Otago Harbour The Otago Daily Times of 1 May 1894 reported William Mathew Hodgkins as representing 'Hohare Korako Karetai and Mary Karetai v James and Bathia Pickering.
