Description: Album of 12 mounted studio tableau photographs portraying individuals and groups of Aboriginal Australians, positioned in front of painted landscape backdrops among artefacts and specimens of native Australian flora and fauna, taken by John William Lindt, produced between 1873 and 1874. Title transcribed from item. A series of 12 photographic prints portraying Aboriginal Australians by John William Lindt are included in an album of photographs at Library reference PA1-q-330. Of the 12 photographic prints, nine appear to be taken from the same negatives as those found in this album. Quantity: 1 album(s) containing 12 mounted photographs.
