Correspondence includes a photocopy of a personal letter from English to a police colleage ("Ferg") while on tour in England and France in 1951. It includes a personal report on the matches, followed by a lengthy discussion of the Battley fingerprinting filing system as used at Scotland yard, and a newer system used at Glasgow Police Department. Other correspondence includes congratulatory letters from the New Zealand Rugby League regarding his life membership, and an invitation to the Wellington Rugby League' centennial celebrations in 2012. Other documents include Minutes of the 71st (1980) Annual General Meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Football League, terms of reference for a new executive position within the League, a working sheet for trophy engravings, and a copy of the book "An illustrated history of Wellington Rugby League 1919-2012" autographed by some past players. Also included are two photographs relating to the tour of the New South Wales Police cricket team: one formal, showing the New South Wales Police and Wellington Police teams, the other showing players walking on to the field.
