It has pages of information about each of the teams performing in each pool of the competition with team photographs and kupu / words for selected moteatea and waiata. The first booklet, published in 1975 and compiled by Valerie Bell, is titled "North-west Nelson State Forest Park | Trips in and around the Wangapeka Valley". It outlines vehicle and walking trips in the Wangapeka Valley, including walking times, notes on huts, fires, animals, and the Forest Park Ranger's information.
