Actress and singer. Studied sculpture and painting at Elam School of Fine Arts at Auckland University, and drama in Wellington. Founding member of Paul Maunder's Amamus Group. Worked at the Downstage Theatre, Mercury Theatre. In 1976 received an Arts Council grant and travelled to England, worked at the Haymarket Theatre. In 1984 married musician and composer Matthew Brown, moved to Nelson in 1991. Son Francis (Frank) Brown is also an actor.
