The stained glass windows in the apse commemorate Sir Harry Atkinson (left) who died in 1892, and the Revd H H Brown who died Sep 1893. The `stars' suggest the decorations were for Christmas. In 1893 the east wall was extended to form an apse and in 1898 the marble reredos was introduced behind the altar.
