Collier, Edith Marion, 1885-1964

New Zealand painter. Born Wanganui, studying art at Wanganui Technical College, 1903-1909. Departed for England in 1912, enrolling at St John's Wood School of Art in London. She returned to New Zealand in 1921 and lived with her parents again. She ceased painting in the last 25 years of her life. (See `New Zealand Women Artists', by Anne Kirker, 1986, page 61).
