Description: The cartoon shows an image of someone looking through 3D spectacles and seeing germs. Tests conducted by The Press on reusable 3D glasses from the Reading Cinemas in Christchurch found they were clean. Laboratory tests on United States 3D glasses by Good Housekeeping magazine found none was sterile, and one set was contaminated with staphylococcus aureus, which can cause conjunctivitis, skin infections and in some extreme cases pneumonia.
