A Wellington based musical group in existence circa 1984 to 1986. Performed and recorded live or improvised experimental music. Influenced by American free jazz and European avant-garde musical styles. Gorpu members were Stuart Porter, Neill Duncan, Gerard Crewdson, and Richard Sedger. Band performing at Cricketers Arms Wellington in 1985.
