Description: Shows five scenes of Evening Post staff enjoying themselves at the centenary party, in the manner of a horse race. In the first a crowd are enjoying pre-dinner drinks. In the second scene a chef is standing behind the main course of food ready to carve the roast meats. In the third scene a man is returning with his plate for a second helping. In the fourth scene a man and a woman are holding hands singing 'Auld Lang Syne'. In the final scene three people leaving to go home are commenting on how good the party was and how they are sorry to have to leave. Note that ref number on this one is wrong - please correct it in 2012 when collection available - PH Extended Title - A large field got away to a good start - the courses were in grand order - and everyone was under pressure all the way - all finished strongly - but found the going very difficult Quantity: 1 original cartoon(s).
