A film studio in Rome where a team of four men are filming graphic depictions of life and the landscape of ancient Egypt. There is also a depiction of the interior of an ancient Egyptian building. A graphic depiction of the colossi of Abu Simbel covered with a grid of lines. Re the film studio. Four transparencies of art work and texts relating to Ramses II were in an envelope from Centro Cinetelevisivo-Via L F Marsigli, 5-00176 Roma. Feeney had also written on the envelope "Ramses II + shooting stills, Rome, at Joceph's studio." The associated transparencies are at PA12-6401 and PA12-6402. Ten associated shooting stills in negative form are housed at 1/2-231225-F to 1/2-231234-F. The views of the film studio probably relate to the film \"The Eighth Wonder\" (1971). This documented the life and times of Ramses II and the building of the Abu Simbel temples as seen through the paintings of Hussein Bicar. (Info from catalogue of the National Film Archive). Quantity: 19 colour original transparency/ies. Physical Description: Dye coupler tranparencies, 35mm, mounted
