Description: Colour prints taken by an unidentified photographer during the first Urerwera claimants' hearing for the Waitangi Tribunal at Tataiahape Marae, Te Waimana, in November 2003. The prints were sent to Binney by lawyer David Ambler of barristers and solicitors East Brewster. (Note: the Library does not hold the negatives of these images). lmages show: - exterior of Takutai o te Rangi meeting house. - a ceremony, probably a powhiri in the grounds of the marae. - a group portrait including lawyer David Ambler, and possibly Tama Nikora. - scenes inside the marquee where the hearing was held. - hail on the road at Taneatua after a storm.
