Description: Copy prints of images possibly used in Orbell's publication 'Birds of Aotearoa: A natural and cultural history, published by Reed Books in 2003. They were housed in an envelope titled 'Bird lore of the Maori'. The images include portraits of Māori people, whare, kāinga, and landscapes. Some are photographs of artworks. One of the images includes Māori men out the front of the Rongokarae meeting house at Ruātoki (ATL 1/2-22961). Title supplied by Library Quantity: 19 b&w copy photographic print(s). Physical Description: Photographic prints Transfers: Some original drawings were also in this envelope and have been separated for storage reasons (currently they have not been described so have no reference numbers as at 17 August 2017). Also the envelope and a photocopy of a photograph by Denton has been separated from the photographs and they are now at MS-Papers-12157-048..
