Meeting house at Ruakā Marae at Rānana, on the Whanganui River. The whare nui on the site is now called Te Morehu. According to Judith Binney, Huriwhenua was Te Keepa's council house. Binney also says, "The house built by the Ringatu believers was possibly named 'Nga Morehu' (The Survivors). But the issue is confused, for the name Te Morehu is attached to Te Keepa's house, which was partly swept away in a flood. It now stands, shortened by 20 feet, on a different site at Ranana". (See Binney, Judith. Redemption Songs: A life of Te Kooti Arikirangi Te Turuki, Bridget Williams Books, 2012, p. 433).
