Orongomai Marae

Orongomai marae is located in Upper Hutt, beside the railway station on the corner of Park Street and Railway Avenue. It is of the Te Atiawa confederation, and is an urban-based marae that provides for all iwi away from their ukaipo.

The whare tupuna is Kahukura. The marae connects ancestrally to the awa Te Awa Kairangi. It was built in 1976.
