Description: Medal shows the words "Vimy Pilgrimage" around the top rim, above an image of the stone Canadian National Vimy War Memorial and a lower border of poppies. The bar shows the words "Canadian Legion 1935, and a beaver and maple leaf. Canadian troops were victorious in the battle of Vimy Ridge, west of Vimy, France, on 9-12 April 1917. The Canadian War Memorial at Vimy was opened on 1936, before a crowd of 50,000, addressed by King Edward VIII. Quantity: 2 curio(s).
