Also a newspaper clipping from The Press of Harold Earle Riddiford's obituary; written by Noman Hardie and published on 8 July 1989, the obituary is accompanied by a ten dollar note. Other newspaper clippings are from 1943 and relate to World War Two, in particular the Pacific. Title transcribed from item. Arrangement: Material arrived at the Library in box "1" and was stored in a plastic sleeve with note in pencil describing the contents as"Miscell". "9" was written on note in blue ink. The denominations are: - 3 keneta, showing a beehive. - 1/16th haupami, showing a balance or the scales of justice. - 1/8th hapawalu, showing a telescope. - 1/4 hapaha, showing two globes. - 1/2 hapalu, showing a church and houses, probably at Honolulu. - $1, hookahi dala, showing a map of the Hawaiian islands.
