Description: Alpine views in the South Island, taken by Miss Joachim (nos. 1-19) and Miss Theomin (nos. 20-50). There are two North Island views taken by Miss Joachim (Papakura Geyser (no. 2), and Mokoia Island in Lake Rotorua (no. 9)). Included in this box is a two-page letter to "Mr. Kennedy" signed by Dorothy Theomin. She starts off "I am always so very [proud when you think any of my films are worth turning into slides that I feel the "kindness" is all on your side for the honour you do me in using them...". She also refers to Peter Graham, Mr. Chas. Buchanan and a Mrs. Bickerton. There are also two pages, partially in Miss Theomin's hand-writing, describing a few of her images, though the numbering system in these notes, the pencilled numbers (possibly given by W. A. Kennedy) and the numbers in the typescript inventory all differ from one another. Most of the places identified are listed above. Quantity: 50 b&w original photographic print(s). 1 folder(s).
