Description: A poster promoting this event, with "neon" title, and neon fruits on a piano keyboard at the top. Below are listed the performers: Johnny Clegg and Savuka, Bob Geldof, The Pogues, Nona Hendryx, Los Lobos, The Chills, Patea Maori Club, Limbs, The Topp Twins, Ardijah. There was also cabaret, jazz, disco, movies, children's stage, cafes and shops. This advertised event did not take place but a substitute event, called "Not the Neon Picnic" was organised with the encouragement of Bob Geldof. Two copies held. Description: Survey plan of the property of S.S. Eyre at Pukekawa, covering lot 1, 2 and 6 in XII Onewhero survey district and lot 3 in Maramarua survey district, an area totalling over 834 acres. Two roads (Waihihi Punga and Eyres) run through the property as well as two streams, one of which is named Tararoa. Plan shows Eyre's house and bordering properties owned by MP Barton, Agnes Logan and Morrison. Bottom right hand corner reads: 'Plans - 16038 blue and block sheet IX Maramarua SD, block sheet XII Onewhero SD.' Pencil annotations over map include road names, direction of other properties, place where cream collected. Survey map was also used as evidence in a murder trial at the Supreme Court, Auckland. Top left corner reads: 'Exhibit C. Rex ?Thorne', signed 'JW ?Conmon'. Stamped '[Supreme] Court, Auckland, exhibit B, 15.11.20' '2nd trial [signed] 29.11.20'. Quantity: 1 manuscript map(s).
