Former RNZAF Air Force base located in the Christchurch suburb of Wigram. It is named after Sir Henry Wigram. Originally home to the RNZAF Central Flying School (CFS), it was closed in 1995. Originally named Sockburn Airport.

An unidentified woman wearing a coat and cloche hat in standing in front of the plane on the left. Hangars in the middle distance on the right, and groups of people near the hangars. Possibly relates to the establishment of a permanent NZ Air Force at Sockburn after Henry Wigram signed over the assets of the Canterbury Aviation Company to the government.
