Letters sent by Erla from various locations, including Noumea and Suva in the Pacific; Los Angeles, Seattle, and Chicago in the United States; and Calgary, Banff, Niagara Falls, Ottawa, Montreal, and Arvida in Canada. Also includes transcriptions of the letters made after Erla's death in 1995; a letter from Ella Wilcox to Mrs Saunders, 18 November 1947, and a photocopy of newspaper clipping featured in Alberton which includes a story about Erla and Ella Wilcox, 4 December 1947. Title supplied by Library. Arrangement: Materials arrived at the Library in a box labelled "Erla Lambert Colln | Box 1 of 3" on the top, "Newcomb College Center for Research on Women | Newcomb Archives" and "Erla Lambert letters and transcriptions Jan 1951 - Dec 1957" on the side. The box had been reused by the donor. Each letter and transcription had been housed together in archive safe folders by the donor.
