Description: The cartoon shows a man representing Cuba and a man representing the US at opposite ends of plank that is pivoted in the middle by a barrel representing Rhodesia. The man representing the US has a gun in his hand and is pointing it at the man representing Cuba. However, his end of the plank juts out over a cliff so that any move with his weapon would endanger his own life. Similarly for the man representing Cuba, any attempt to get off the plank would result in getting himself shot. Refers to the military situation in Rhodesia.
