Description: Two sets of photographs chiefly showing beachscapes at Mahia Peninsula. Taken by unidentified photographer(s) circa 1970 to 1980. One set of black and white and colour images show views of Mokotahi Hill taken from Mahia Beach, waves on the beach, rock formations, rock pools, and wide views of Mahia Peninsula. Includes close up views of nikau palm fronds taken from inside looking out a window frame. One set of colour photographs show beach scenes at Mahia Peninsula. Includes views of a dog on the beach, and fishing boats tied up to a pier on a stream or estuary. Source of description - Photographs were housed in an envelope marked 'Mahia Mokotahi Greening' upon delivery to the Library. A photocopy of the original housing is kept with the prints.
