Description: A collection of LiDar digital spatial data and accompanying information created during a survey of ten lava caves located under three volcanoes; Te Tātua-a-Riukiuta (Three Kings), Maungawhau (Mount Eden), Māngere and Maungakiekie (One Tree Hill) in Auckland City. Arrangement: Data set files arranged by cave, as supplied by donor. Supporting documentation for caves has been described separately. Chirag Jindal collaborated with speleologist Peter Crossely and Ian Mander in a two year LiDAR mapping project. The resulting data was used in an exhibition "Into the Underworld: The Architecture of Katabasis" held at Silo 6 on the Wynyard Quarter, Auckland, between 9-24 December 2017.
