Description: Photograph album of images showing, and relating to, broadcaster Cherry Raymond (1925-2006), taken circa 1940s-circa 1980s by mainly unidentified photographers. Images reflect her professional and private life, including Raymond conducting interviews and on panels in the studio [Beauty and the Beast?], glamour portraits, modelling and performing (in Glasgow, for a camera company, and on a boat), and holiday images. Her association with other television and arts personalities such as Kiri Te Kanawa, Selwyn Toogood, Keith Bracey, Dougal Stevenson, Kenneth Adam, Diana Rigg, Patrick Mcnee, and Max Cryer is also covered. Another identified figure is Leo Silvera, tenor. Some photographers are identified (many of these on the back of loose prints held in separate pocket). These include Qantas airlines, Robert C Wood and Stuart Pemberthy Photography Limitied. Photographer information is likely on the back of other prints, but it is unable to be accessed due to the prints being stuck in the album. Accompanying information - Album also contains a small amount of ephemera and manuscript material, including a Christmas card, a telegram, and a postcard of the Eiffel Tour addressed to 'Poppy'.
