Wife of Second Lieutenant William Henning, MC (d 1918). Married Frederick Sandford, Squadron Leader RAF on 3 Apr 1920. First woman to gain a pilot's licence in New Zealand in 1925. Many of the images show nursing staff and soldiers, very few of whom are identified, and then only by Christian name.
