Description: Comprises music scores and parts, sound recordings, newsclippings, photographs and correspondence of architect, Dr Richard Fuchs, who was also a keen musician and composer Part of the Archive of New Zealand Music Source of title - Supplied Dr Fuchs was born in Karlsruhe, studied as an architect but had a deep interest in music. He and his family were held in Dachau concentration camp but were released and came to New Zealand via England in 1939. They settled in Wellington working for Natausch and Sons and for the New Zealand Housing Department, continuing with his music interests.
