Description: Collection of WIlletts family records, including papers, photographs, and published items relating to conscientious objector John (Jack) Willetts, including, detention camp letters written by Jack Willetts to his wife Nancy during World War Two, spiral bound manuscripts, six recipe books, newspapers cuttings about Jack Willetts's painting in later life, and an envelope of letters and cards from Toss Woollaston. Artworks include three watercolour scenes from the detention camp, an oil portrait of Noel Ginn and graphite works. Also includes photographs of the Willetts family at Matakana island and at the Riverside community taken 1940s-1950s, Jack Willett's parents and family, Nancy Willetts' (nee Bay) family members, and photographs relating to World War One service of the Bay brothers.
