Description: Views of spring and summer seasonal flower displays, especially tulips, flowering trees and autumn colour. Included are specific areas within the garden such as the Rose Garden, the Sunken Garden, and the Herb Garden. There are records of clearings and newly planted gardens such as the waterfall at the rose Garden, the maple valley on the main drive, the banks above the main gates into which the dwarf connifer collection was extended, and the Herb Garden under construction. There are also views of the city as seen from the Botanic Garden, and views of the Garden taken from vantage points above it such as Garden Road. One group of slides is a record of propagating and growing a variety of the ornamental Abyssinian Banana. Another records a floral display in the Wellington Town Hall for a unspecified Royal Tour.
