He is wearing a hat, and shirt, his trousers held up with braces and he is smoking a pipe The artist's title 'Beroeland' may be intended to be Bergeland Other Titles - Bergeland, Norway Inscriptions: Inside front cover: C. L. Williams in ink, crossed out. EAW [monongram of E. A Williams, Chrs-Sund, 8 7 91 and E. A. Williams RA in cursive script. Also title below portrait, in pencil, twice. Quantity: 1 watercolour(s).
