Description: Order of service conducted by the President of the Oamaru Ministers' Association, Rev W E D Davies, Church of England shows a photograph of the Garden of Memories on the front cover and a roll of honour on the back page. Other participants in the service were Reverend D H Stewart (Baptist Church), Captain R Dawson (Salvation Army), Reverend Dr H W West (Presbyterian Church), Reverend C R Taylor (Methodist Church). A lament was to be played by the North Otago Highland Pipe Band. After the service, there was to be a ceremony at 8 pm of switching on the flood lights, by Miss I G Olorenshaw of Oamaru Public Hospital. Quantity: 1 b&w photo-mechanical print(s).
