Description: Posters produced under the supervision of Xavier Meade, each showing a myth or legend "concerning the nature of reality and the human condition" ("Purakau" catalogue page [2]). The series draws on legends from the cultures of each country, and expresses ideas about indigenous sovereignty, colonisation and decolonisation, keeping the purity of the land: Aotearoa: 1.
