Rowanbank (Ship : 1943- )

Liberty ship launched in 1943 as the `John Reed', lease lend to Britain. In 1943 renamed `Sampford' for the British Ministry of War Transport, managed by Andrew Weir & Company. In 1947 purchased by the Bank Line (Andrew Weir & Co) and renamed `Rowanbank'; in 1959 purchased by Hong Kong and renamed `Taiwind'; scrapped in 1967.
