Description: Mrs Hine Tahana chats with Ian Campbell, who with his wife Clare and son Duncan came to offer support to this group of Maori land marchers camped out on the Ngati Poneke Marae, Wellington. Photographed by an Evening Post staff photographer on the 30th of December 1975. Mrs Hine Tahana was the secretary of Te Roopu Ote Matakite, the original land march organisiation. The group intended to remain in Wellington until the court cases against the marchers arrested in Parliament grounds had been heard.
