Description: Depicts a group of wharfies surveying the ship Aorangi as it comes into port. There is a newspaper clipping in the top right corner, referring to the repainting of the ship white and gold and its return to work as a passenger ship after being requisitioned by the British Ministry of War Transport in 1941. The ship appears to be gleaming. The title suggests that the colour of the ship will prevent the wharfies from declaring the ship 'black' or non-union.
