Description: Contains mixed personal and business correspondence sent and received by C K Stead from 1955 to 1957. Includes a letter that appears to have been written from a young Stead to his mother. Other documents include: - Certificates of X-ray from the Anti-Tuberculosis Association of New South Wales for C K and Kay Stead; - notes from various publishers indicating receipt of manuscripts and whether they could accept the manuscripts for publication; - lists of expenditures; - a list of Stead's manuscripts indicating publications to which they had been submitted; - pages from the PEN Gazette and PEN annual report. A note at the front of the papers reads: "These are my own files 'outed' from the trunk for the Memoir Vol 2. (as distinct from the boxes of Curnow, Sargeson, Brasch stuff from Turnbull & Hodian [?].
