Jean-Paul Sartre Experience (Musical group)

JPS Experience (Musical group), JPSE (Musical group)

New Zealand band, also known as JPS Experience and JPSE, formed in 1985 by David Yetton (vocals, bass guitar), Gary Sullivan (drums), and David Mulcahy (guitar, vocals). Later joined by a second guitarist James Laing. Signed with Flying Nun and issued their debut album in 1987. After two further albums for the label the band moved to Auckland in 1991 and added keyboard player Russell Baillie. Russell Baillie left in 1993, and Mulcahy was replaced by Matthew Heine. The band split in 1995.
