Theatre director, and film actor. Ngati Porou. One of the first Māori graduates from New Zealand Drama School. Established Te Ohu Whakaari in 1983. Member of Town and Country Players. Leading member of the Depot Theatre and Taki Rua theatre. Brother of playwright Riwia Brown, and poet Apirana Taylor.
