Description: Shows Prime Minister David Lange, wearing a Dire Straits tshirt under his suit, walking down a hallway within Parliament Buildings. He passes two unidentified colleagues one of whom remarks that 'dire straits' more likely refers to his short-term policy for New Zealand than the musical group. Description: Shows Lange walking through the halls of Parliament with a `Dire Straits' t-shirt on. Two men have noticed the t-shirt and comment that 'Dire Straits' is Lange's view of New Zealand's economy rather than his favourite music group. Refers to a comment made by Lange where he objected to having to underwrite the National Orchestra and said that he preferred Dire Straits to Debussy.
