Active in Corso, M.A.P., his local residents and ratepayers assn and other activities. Intended writing a biography of WB Sutch whom he had known since 1932. Lived in Wellington for much of the period 1932-1975 but wrote letters to Ian K Mackay from Park Road, Auckland in 1977, and to John Robson from Grafton, Auckland in the 1980s
