Preston, Jan, active 1975-2016

New Zealand pianist, composor and songwriter. In the 1970s was a member of the alternative theatre group, Red Mole. Formed the rock/reggae band called 'Coup D'Etat' after her experience of rhythm and blues music in New York in the late 1970s. Composer of film music. Sister of New Zealand film maker Gaylene Preston.
