Description: Shows a series of vignettes of a polling day in New South Wales, including women voting for the first time. Top left is 'Her first vote' with an elderly woman placing her vote in the box, watched by a younger woman. Top right is 'Who says I'm not on the rolls?', a cowering small man reading the electorial roll, while a large woman glares at him. Centre right is 'A day of equality. Mistress and maid' with both a maid and her older mistress about to place their votes. Bottom right is 'Voting under difficulties', with a woman in a polling booth, attempting to cast her vote while holding a baby, with 2 toddlers clutching her skirts and two other small children waiting for her. Men on either side watch the children with alarm. Bottom left is a crowd of working men outside a polling place with one man refusing to 'Vote for reduction to 90', possibly referring to the number of Members of Parliament.
