The Police encourage IBM to take their INCIS computer and jump off a bridge. IBM spent millions of taxpayer dollars on creating a new Police computer system that never worked. Mt Eden prison guards try to work out how prisoners are getting out and drugs getting in. Admidst the ruins of Belgrade Milosevic stands victorious. The Police consider getting rid of the INCIS computer to a crime consortium believing it will stop them dead in their tracks like it has done to the Police. Milosevic uses peace talks to buy time to destroy war crimes evidence. Police operations are stoped in their tracks by the weight of the INCIS computer disaster. Comment on retailers selling liquor to underagedrinkers The Serbs pull out of Kosovo as Nato forces enter the area. Comment on the New Zealand cricket team making hard work out of limited over cricket. The Soviets welcome the Nato forces to Yugoslavia. Shows a ship load of Chinese boat people on a collision course with New Zealand as the National coalition Government passes emergency legislation allowing mass, indefinite detention of asylum seekers. Inland Revenue Department assures the public that all small and powerless taxpayers are bullied equally. Serbia puts the blame for large scale death and destruction in Kosovo on the Nato bombing campaign. Shows newspaper ad for a crown entity boss, all perks and no responsibility. Minister of Immigration, Tuariki Delamere sets one standard for migrants and another for himself and his family. Jenny Shipley shoots TV news presenter, John Hawkesby in the head with a rubber arrow. He received a substantial pay-out when his contract was terminated. The Mongrel Mob supports Tony Ryall's plans to introduce tougher penalties for home invasion, if it relates to their homes being invaded but not their neighbours. Comment on breach of privilege by the Prime Minister Jenny Shipley and TVNZ over the John Hawkesby pay-out. Rugby supporters froze to their seats during a recent rugby match. In the lower right scene an Australian prison warder is refusing to take back a prisoner because Sydney has been quiet since the prisoner jumped bail and went to New Zealand. Source of title - Supplied Relationship complexity - See also MS-Papers-0144 The records date from the period immediately preceding the reforming of the Branch in Feb 1948. Although the Branch had been in recess for some time prior to 1948, former members had kept in touch with active branches and had received news and reports. The Branch appears to have gone through another relatively inactive period between 1950 and 1955, a lull which is reflected in the records. Description: Album of photographs collected by Albert Percy Godber which related to his interests. Photographers include Daniel Manders Beere, William Thomas Locke Travers and James Ring. Scenes in Australia include Adelaide waterworks, Currency Creek, the Murray River Bridge, the Thorndon Park Reservoir, and Port Adelaide River road & rail bridge. New Zealand scenes are chiefly in the South island, many relating to early railway construction, particularly areas involved in working on the Dunedin to Balclutha railway along the Waimakariri River, and around the Purakanui Cliffs. Of particular interest throughout the album are the construction and design of railway features such as bridges, viaducts and tunnels. According to Piranesi: early architectural fantasies, a catalogue raisonne (1986) by Andrew Robison the Carceri group within this group (numbers C-091-019 to -026 and -028 to 032) are likely to be 2nd edition, 3rd issue, mid 1760s to early 1770s. Other similar collections are at the Beinecke, Chicago, Soane and Princeton Art Museums. These show watermark number 36 throughout; the states of the various prints also match the description in Robison, p. 140. The Carceri set is incomplete. Missing are Plates 3, 4,and 6.
