Source of title - Supplied The Wellington Savage Club, an all-male association linked to the original Savage Club in London, and whose goal was to provide an entertaining social club for middle-class \"bohemians\" interested in the arts and theatre, was founded in 1905. An orchestra was formed, premises were leased, and members were involved in activities such as amateur theatricals, concerts and visits to kindred clubs. Women were admitted as members in the 1970s. Description: A calendar for March 2004 to April 2005, featuring photographs of patrons of the Celtic Inn in Palmerston North in semi-revealing poses. These men are all members of the pub's "Guinness 100 Pint Club", having consumed 100 pints in a month or less; and most are born in Celtic lands: Scotland, Ireland, Wales or England. The photographs were taken by Greg Wilson of Palmerston North. The calendar was a fundraiser for prostate cancer.
