Wesleyan missionary; son of William Gilbert Puckey (b 1776); married Matilda Davis (daughter of Rev Richard Davis) on 11 Oct 1831 at the Bay of Islands. The Ordaining of Deacons is the text prepared for printing at Paihia in June 1843 (Williams: 90) and the Ordaining of Priests text was not that used for Williams: 320.
