Description

Comprises four booklets owned by Private Chauney Raymond William Adams during his military service in World War Two.

Includes two agendas from 1941 and 1942 which have been annonotated like a diary by Adams. The annotations begin 17 March 1941 and end 31 December 1941 and briefly describe Adams' activities and mindset.

Also includes a bound volume titled "Steimatzy's Guides: Syria and Lebanon", which describes the two countries' geography, history, population, and administration.

Also includes a bound volume of the New Testament. The cover has a crown on King George VI's initials on it. There is an accompanything printed message from the King.

Original enclosure featuring annotations by donor has been disposed of for preservation purposes.
