Photograph taken by an unidentified photographer circa 1910s-1920s showing crowds on balconies of the Trocadero Private Hotel (at 296 Lambton Quay) and the building which housed the Returned Soldiers Club and Gamble and Creed tearooms (at 292 Lambton Quay). British flags and banners and a 'Welcome Digger' poster are hung from the balconies [probably taken after December 1919].
