All images taken in a state housing area, in an unidentified location, possibly in Auckland. Two young Māori women, one of whom is carrying a kitten, are seen in front of a state housing block (frames 1 to 5); they are seen with two younger girls who are sitting on the pavement playing; two young women are seen using a telephone in a phone booth (frames 6, 7 & 11); two others have possibly been in a swimming pool (frames 8 to 10); and three young Māori are talking outside shops, with crs in the background (frame 12). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
