Digital cartoon by Sharon Murdoch depicting various events of the week, such as the All Blacks winning the 2015 Rugby World Cup; Prime Minister John Key being named the 48th hottest leader in the world, a bumblebee landed on the leg of Prince Charles during his visit to the Orokonui Ecosanctuary near Dunedin; Michelle Payne became the first female jockey to win the Melbourne Cup; the text of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement was released, and Guy Fawkes was celebrated in New Zealand with fireworks. In the final panel, the cartoonist wonders if next year we could remember an act of peaceful resistance and "have Parihaka Day instead" and light up the sky at Matariki.
