Images showing scenes inside the Whakatane Maori Youth Club; Te Kooti's flag, and Ringatu Church meeting, Wainui, taken in 1963 by Ans Westra. Unless otherwise stated all persons are unidentified.

Images show scenes of socialising, dancing and eating at a Maori youth club meeting at Whakatane. Also show the flag used by Te Kooti, which is normally kept in the Dominion Museum in Wellington and was lent for this Ringatu meeting in Wainui. Shows church members in front of meeting house (whare nui) and kuia with mokopuna.
